Personalized Art Instruction - Classes designed for the individual
Classes are geared to individual's artistic talent and goals.
The cost is $60 per hour for individual lessons, or get a set of 5 lessons for $200. If all appointments are kept get a 6th lesson free.
Instruction is available in composition, drawing, and painting in acrylic, oil or watercolor or a combination of mediums. Classes include all materials and are held in artist's studio in Flower Mound, Texas.
Workshops
Do you have a desire to learn the skills and techniques needed to produce stunning artwork? Join us in one of the listed 5 day workshops shown below and be instructed in art techniques that will add to your art no matter what your medium is.. The Workshop is geared to the beginner, intermediate painter and professional alike...you'll work hard but Anita will show you how to have fun doing it. You will learn something valuable and practice it on the spot, coming away with increased understanding and several paintings of your own of which you will be proud.
Classes generally start at 9:00 each morning. After a brief talk on the day's objectives, Anita will do a complete painting, telling you what she's doing as she does it, and why. The "mysteries" of design will be unraveled for you while you learn watercolor!
At noon we break for lunch, then YOU paint in the afternoon, while what you have seen and learned is fresh in your mind. It's the fastest way to learn. Anita will be available to help you on the spot as you create your afternoon art.
At about 3:30 Anita critiques all the work produced during the day, including her own. It's a time at which much is learned by all. By 5:00 we're finished. Of course you may come and go as you wish at any time, and Anita will critique your work early if you've finished and have to leave earlier.
If a workshop is not near your area perhaps you would like to coordinate an Anita Robbins workshop. If you are successful in following detailed instruction on how to promote a local workshop, and the required minimum attendees register, you will get your registration free plus a commission. Anyone 18 yrs. or older is eligible to attend; groups are made up of beginners, hobbyists, students and professionals. The class is necessarily limited in size on a "first come" basis, and your payment is your reservation.
